ABOUT US
The Factory Superstars are the Los Angeles-based multimedia artist collective behind Factory Magazine, Nothing Special (an immersive theatrical experience), and an array of underground films and interviews.
Our “Happenings” are immersive experiences full of live music, art, alcohol, dress-up, interactive theater, and screen tests — a Warhol tradition where the subject is invited to simply exist in front of a camera.
NOTHING SPECIAL IN WONDERLAND
Nothing Special is an ever-evolving stage show written by Melanie Anne, which borrows its name from and brings life to Andy Warhol’s unfulfilled TV show.
This year’s adaptation takes place in Warhol’s Wonderland. Step inside the reopened Factory doors and take a tumble down the rabbit hole with Edie Sedgwick. Explore the dizzying nightmare of Warhol’s underground film scene, where Edie will be put on trial for her vanity.
The night consists of 3 scenes that loop for an hour in various rooms, allowing you to walk through freely and experience the story in any order you choose. Prepare to be a part of the underground movie scene, where recording devices and flashbulbs hide around every corner waiting to capture your 15 minutes of fame. Live music every night.
